Midi Lane presets and naming

I’m working with the VSL libraries, and finding I’m using a lot of controllers. I’ve set up a couple of common custom controller lanes, and have a few questions:

  1. Is it possible to name the lanes? It’s getting really confusing having to remember that CC94 is release control etc.
  2. Do the controller lane presets transfer from project to project?
  3. Can you save a given preset as the default view? For example:

Track 1 - CC1, CC2 and CC3 display as the default whenever you open this track and then,
Track 2 - CC4, CC5 and CC6 display as the default whenever you open this track.

As far as I know, one cannot name controller lanes in cubase. I’d appreciate to be wrong about this though.

This is a shame. Better control over MIDI lanes would be really helpful.
