I’m having problem recording midi lanes. If I open a new project at first it works fine. I have the transport set to new and stacked. Once the project is more complete, (additional midi on a track) when using midi lanes I will hear the first recording while recording the second. The original track stays highlighted and the new track is grayed out. When recording audio everything works fine. Anyone having a similar problem or know of a solution
Sadly, this is how Lanes work for MIDI. If you’re in Cycle Mode, it should work as you expect with “Stacked” chosen in transport. Adding MIDI lanes like audio lanes when recording - Cubase - Steinberg Forums
