Under certain circumstances, inserting a MIDI loop into a project inserts only the MIDI data and does not include its associated instrument, channel, inserts, etc.
- In a project which contains at least one instrument track, select the instrument track.
- Open the loop browser.
- Right click on a MIDI loop and select Insert Into Project >> At Cursor
The MIDI data will be inserted at the cursor on the instrument track which was selected, even though the instrument track may not have had the appropriate instrument. If in step 1, an audio or group track is selected instead of an instrument track, then inserting the MIDI loop into the project results in the instrument, channel, inserts, etc. being inserted correctly.
