So I spent hours going through all of my instrument plugins and assigning quick controls using my midi controller. When I was done, I saved every track as a track preset. I did all this on my main, very large template with visibility configurations based on instrument type. I then saved a secondary template and deleted all of my instrument tracks because I want one template that is more like studio one, where I can drag all of my track presets over from the media bay. The problem is, in that drag and drop template (which only has fx sends and group channels), the midi mapping is gone. But when I open my original template, it works like a charm. Where did I go wrong?
oh specifically the midi mapping on my 3rd party virtual instruments are gone. My insert plugins work perfectly.
