I think this is a fairly simple feature request.
It would be great if the MIDI Monitor could open on top of Studio Setup instead of closing that window. This would save a few clicks when troubleshooting MIDI devices. Right now, you need to close the monitor, then navigate again through Studio → Studio Setup to apply changes and then reopen it if something is still wrong, which can be a bit tedious.
This adjustment seems narrow enough that it shouldn’t introduce new defects into the product.
