I know I know, I’m the person who is against new features for now, but in the future, just an extra column for “MIDI CH No.” in MIDI Monitor window might help even more at troubleshooting. That one is probably not touching the heart of the code, no pressure, just a kindly request for future

While your request makes sense, you can already spot the channel in the 2nd digit of the (hex) status. Hex goes 0 to f, so 0-9 and then a (10), b (11) up to f (15). So 9d means Note on (90) at channel d (13, read 14 if you count 1-16, hex shows 0-15).
