Midi not triggering vst

Cubase 15 pro

Something strange has suddenly happened. When I solo my sampler track I hear the sample Play from the midi event. But the midi events do not trigger the sample track when it is live with all the other tracks

Any ideas please

Hi,

Do you have Key Editor open by any chance? Isn’t there the Solo Editor enabled?

Could you attach a screenshot, please?

Thanks for your response. After playing around with things, as a last-ditch attempt, I unmated all tracks via the master M button, and it came to life again, although the M button was not active on that track!
A mystery to me, but hey all good now
