MIDI note - changing to steady 8th notes.

Hi forum.

I have a midi region with long notes and I want to ‘slice’ the notes up so that I have a cut at every 8th note, creating a steady pulse.

Is there a way to do this quickly?

Yes. Use the Scissors Tool and hold Alt when you make your first cut. This will cut the remainder of the note to the length of the first cut.
