Midi note won't play

Hello.
Didn’t know what to put in the title.

Ok, This morning I messed up a bit in the preferences, mostly on the colors part for tracks and stuff like that. I think i could also have screwed up something else.

Till This morning, this was what I had.
A long midi note starting from Bar 1 and lasting till bar 4. I press play at bar 3 and the note DID play. Now it won’t start… what did I do in the preferences? :frowning:

Hi,

Check Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filter. Make sure, MIDI Notes are not filtered out on the playback side here.

Is the MIDI Note playing back, when you start at 1? I mean, when the cursor starts play back before the Note Start?

Solved.
It was under Preferences → MIDI → Chase Events. “Note” was unchecked. now it works.
