Not great. Here’s a screen recording.
When I split a MIDI clip, the notes go all over the place. I’ve emailed support.

The notes are not changing, of course. Just mentioning that in case you believe they are actually changing.
It’s just the way the program handles that type of display in the project view. Those are more for reference than specifically showing pitches.
The notes absolutely are changing, and changing pitch. I didn’t include audio in the clip but trust me, what you’re seeing is the MIDI notes changing pitch (and they also change in the editor window).
It would be helpful if you uploaded a video that includes the project view and lower zone key editor, and the entire window so one can see all relevant details, like the info line and toolbars in both project and key editor.
I have not seen this happen ever, and yours is the only report of this, so I suspect it’s worth troubleshooting.
For the record Steinberg support mentioned in a reply that both Cubase and Nuendo are experiencing issues with Kontakt 8 from Native Instruments, and the issues started popping up this week (iirc NI did release an update about the time this started). They’re collecting data to send to NI so if anyone else is affected that’s likely the culprit. Other third-party VSTs I’ve been using don’t seem to be affected.
