Midi notes delayed during playback

I create a empty project.

I turn on the metronome.

I add a single Midi track, and then edit it with the drum editor.

I add just a simple bass drum on the first beat of the measure.

Then, when I play it back, the drum doesn’t sound until beat 2. It is delayed during playback. All notes that I enter with the midi editor are delayed by the same amount.

Can anybody help me with that?

What is your used software?
What is the metronome set to?
What is the MIDI track in question tiggering?
Which is your used Hardware?

  1. Turn your audio buffer down

  2. DONT start your projects at measure 1. I always start at measure 3

  3. Turn on the timestamp in the prefs for midi
