Hello,
I tried the record function with my midi piano.
I select the two staves of the piano and I get a slashe note instead of a regular note.
Some slashed notes were on the staff before that might be the cause.
Dorico is very likely picking up the existing voices on your staff and not checking whether or not they are normal or slash voices. Thanks for letting me know about this – I will look into it when I get a chance.
