Hi folks. Longtime user but I’m just getting around to asking you all a question.
If your dropping in on a midi part with the objective of continuing from that point to the end is there any of the midi record modes that facilitate a behaviour of whenever the first midi input event (sustain pedal or note on for example) that everything is replaced from that point onwards…
At present the closest mode is overwrite mode. But I very often find that it deletes data just preceding the drop in point. You also need to set the drop in point. The other behaviour I’m thinking about would also remove the need to set a drop in point and would only overwrite data from the first place a midi event is detected. We don’t have this feature do we?
Any potential issues I’m missing if it was there?
Thoughts on that?
