MIDI Remote Learn Mode Bug?

I’m having an issue when trying to program certain buttons from Metagrid in to the new MIDI Remote window. I have my faders all properly set up, and I want to set up buttons underneath them, however when I go to select an empty space to add a button, it will not select and instead stays on the fader. The learn mode will not move on from the last thing that I inputted and I simply can not add anything else.

Has anyone else experienced this?

The new MIDI Remote editor is not quite ready for prime time and Metasystems are advising Cubase users to stick with the old Generic Remote for now.

Definitely, I’m discovering that now. It seems there is a midi feedback loop that happens when trying to work with Metagrid. The faders I have set up actually work fine, but it gets pretty finicky beyond that.
