MIDI Remote Push 2 integration

I’m very interested in seeing a demo. I’m not likely to try it in person, with the max software, etc.

I made a page with an email form: Ableton Push + Cubase: Integrating the tools

Ralf, hi, i saw this thread and noticed you’re using shove for Push 2 in cubase. i had been successfully for about 3 years, but then late last year it all turned sour. I can still control and have with midi mapping all the control i want, but the matrix now on depressing a note turns grey…and all the standard Shove coloring is gone. it’s dispiriting. question, are you able to still operate and function with shove without any problem or have you experienced something like this also. i’d be very interested to know and or if you have developed another way of using in push 2 in cubase. (i’m on cubase 14 but the problem is across cubase 12-14. be cool to hear back from you …best…steve

Any update in this topic? Push 2 and Cubase 15

I’m working on a integration for the Push 2 with Cubase/Nuendo. I will have a working version soon, I’ll keep you posted. It has its limits and imperfections, but it gives a great amount of control, the Push really is a great controller!

Hey, thanks for the update — really excited to hear you’re working on a Push 2 integration for Cubase/Nuendo. I’ve been hoping for something like this, especially now with Cubase 15.

I used Shove for a long time and it was great, but lately it hasn’t been behaving properly for me in Cubase 15 (unless I’m missing something).

So I’m definitely interested in your project. Even with a few limitations, having solid Push 2 control inside Cubase would be a huge win. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Hi, v1 of my bridge is ready, you can see it here Push 2 / Nuendo & Cubase Bridge — Free, Open-Source Controller Integration

Hi @mbourque
First of all thanks a lot for this bridge ! :+1:t2:
I am on Mac Os sequoia (Intel proc) and the app shows this message “ You can’t open the application “Push2 Nuendo Bridge.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac.”
Do you have any idea why I receive this message ?
Best,

Paz

Do you have an Intel Mac? The macOS .app is built for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4). Intel Mac users should run from source (see User Guide, section 2). It is less straight forward but should work. Let me know how it worked.
If you have further issues, continue the discussion on the thread I’ve shared in the last post.
