The midi remote import has never worked for me so far. Midi remote has never worked properly. Mostly I have to remake the template EVERY time I start up Cubase.
If it doesn’t work properly in Cubase 15 I definitly switch to Ableton or Bitwig. It’s frustrating and I don’t want to rewrite some JSON files.
it has been a lot of problems lately. My remote script is saved but leaves 7 versions. something is up. Fingers crossed for both more stable midi remote and new expanded features with easy programming
The midi remote should support mixing desks with moving faders. It’s never worked for me.

It is. There are controllers however, not expecting the mirror (pitchbend) message, but a CC instead. These controllers need special handling via scripting. Other than that, there have been reports for faders moving “back” especially upon fast movements.

so you are saying a Faderport could work with midi remote? I remember seeing a Faderport 2 script, does that have a mechanical fader too?
