I watched this yesterday but he’s using faders , i wonder why that is

Errmmm , yes it does considering most controllers have encoders as well , so unless you have a pure fader controller then some of the control is still defunked
For this particular example of plug-in control with parameter banks? Why do you say that? Push encoders work fine here for this (the video’s) purpose, it’s the “key-command pairs to one encoder” that are impossible to do with the Surface Editor. Am I missing something?
I can’t believe we need such complicated workflows when all we need is 2 new MIDI functions in the MIDI Remote.
Next bank, Previous bank. Assign as you please and we’d all be happy setting our controller up exactly once and only 8 values.
