MIDI Remote to create mixer bank zones based on selected track

Hey guys, I’m trying to program my Intech Studio GRID EF44 to be able to do some basic mixing tasks. The unit has 4 faders, 4 endless encoders and 4 buttons, as well as 4 total banks of available mappings. I’m mainly using it for MIDI CC controls, however, it feels like a bit of a shame to not use it also for some basic fader rides and such.

I would like to make it so if a track is selected, then create a mixer bank zone of 4 tracks starting from the selected track (so the selected track is always the left-most fader). This should also be based on visibility of the mix console only. Is this possible to do at all with the MIDI Remote?

Hi,

The MIDI Remote Mixer Bank Zone follows the selection automatically.

The part of creating the 4-tracks bank zone is doable both by using the assistant or scripting, and the zone will include the selected track as @Martin.Jirsak mentioned already. However in order to have the selected track as the very first track automatically, needs bank shifting operations which can be done only by scripting. If manually, you just have to have a shift assignment.

Not possible yet, the MR is not following visibility.

Yeah ideally that would have been automatic. But if there’s no way of making it follow visibility then there’s no point in bothering with any of this in my case. For now at least.
