I use an X-Touch One to control various parameters of the selected track, and it works great (thanks to bjoluc’s MIDI-remote script).
However, if the selected track is a MIDI track routed to a rack instrument, the remote device’s channel strip controls/reflects the MIDI track’s channel strip, and not the return channel that is paired with the MIDI track (shown in Cubase’s inspector when the MIDI track is selected).
I assume this is due to a limitation in the Cubase MIDI remote API. Is this something that could be added? It would be a huge workflow improvement for more complex projects/templates.
