I don’t remember this behavior before, but maybe it is just how Nuendo handles midi note editing. My issue is by default it both quantizes midi note length relative to its starting point on the grid, and doesn’t allow you to snap the end of the midi note to the grid if the beginning doesn’t start on it.
Hopefully that makes sense. I made a video showing the behavior, I’ve checked my settings and didn’t see anything that should cause this by default.- YouTube
