MIDI stops recording

I have downloaded HALion 6 trial version and now can’t record any MIDI from any VST instrument. The MIDI information seems to be received by Cubase 10 but when recording the MIDI information and sound stops, and when I stop trying to record the track disappears and the sound and MIDI information is back again. Any ideas?

I would recommend to move this topic to the General thread.

While recording, can you hear what you are playing? Can you see the MIDI Activity and the Audio Return signal on the meters? Can you see the MIDI Notes are written to the MIDI Part?

Maybe a video screen capture would help here.
