I recently purchased Cubase 6, I have a motif xf8 which is connected through a USB cable to my PC, I’m running windows 7 - dual processor with 4 gb ram, 500gb hard disk.
The problem I’m getting is that very often I get hung (stuck) midi notes, basically I’ll be playing along with cubase on my motif then everything will just pause and cubase becomes unresponsive and sometimes for up to 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, all the notes that should of played during those 60 seconds will be played back in one huge chunk of notes and sometimes also in super fast forward.
My motif’s analog outputs are connected to my audiophile 2496 soundcard, I’m using the usb-midi drivers for the midi playback with the motif xf vst editor in cubase 6.
