Is anyone else having problems when opening a MIDI track for editing and find it opens in the wrong location as shown in my two screenshots, the first photo shows the Playhead at Bar 6, after double tapping on the track it opens at a completely different location as shown in the second photo, a lot of unnecessary scrolling left or right is then required to reach the correct Bar location.
Once again these 3.8x releases have introduced more major problems than they’ve fixed. Why the constant new bugs in an app that was basically completely solid (v3.7.8), with every successive update? Very worrisome using this in a professional situation.
I notice my bug report is slowly disappearing down the list.
Is there a possibility my reported issue will be fixed in the next update because it is very time consuming having to constantly scroll left and right to find the right editing location.
Actually Cubasis 3.8 did not change things.
The current Cubasis behavior is:
Double tapping a MIDI event that has been opened at least once already, zooms the editor to the view range that was shown when the editor was closed previously (no matter where the playhead is at).
Double tapping a MIDI event for the first time, zooms the editor to show the full event depends on the device.
This problem is happening on my iPad Air 6 (13”) and my iPad Air 4. If I set the Playhead to a particular bar and double tap the track, it opens up to where it was last opened, eg-
I open the track at bar 74 and make a couple of edits, I close edit view, place the Playhead on Bar 6, double tap to open and I am confronted with Bar 74. Setting the Playhead at Bar 42 to make more edits, double tap opens at 74 again.
Wherever the last edit was made on any of my MIDI tracks, moving the Playhead to a different position still opens in the lasted editing bar position.
I did know this problem existed before v3.8, but I thought it had been fixed, I have spent a lot of time recently practicing various finished projects and it’s only just recently that I noticed it is still with us.

[EDIT]
You are correct by saying double tapping a MIDI track for the first time opens the whole track and does indeed zoom into the whole event, but every thing else is as I have written it above.
Hmm, I have just opened Cubasis 2 and this behaviour is the exactly same, I have also tried chopping long MIDI tracks into 10 bar segments and placed the Playhead at different points in a particular section and then double tapped to open - it works perfectly well, but the longer the segment is the greater the chance of having to scroll to the left or right, so I think you may be correct, my apologies.
