Midi track input ch resets to "Any" on re-launch

Problem:
New midi track. Set midi input channel from default “Any” to channel 1.
Save. Exit Cubase. Re-launch Cubase, open project. Channel input returns to default “Any”.

Expected behavior:
Same as all parameters in the inspector. You change a value, the value is set and remains set.
