I sometimes like to give midi tracks that have been step input a bit of life by setting “Position” (under “Random” in the Midi Inspector pane) to perhaps a min and max of -10 and +10. This works fine EXCEPT that any Expression Map data associated with the track is also randomised, which means that randomly for some notes the Articulation is sent to the VSTi too late.
Please could consideration be given to keeping Expression Map data with the associated midi note during randomisation.
