I’ve been searching for a way to automate velocity compression in the MIDI Modifier, but unfortunately, it’s not possible directly, at least until Cubase 12.
As a workaround, I’ve created a MIDI Transformer preset that converts MIDI CC22 data into velocity compression/expansion. The CC22 range is 0-127, with zero compression/expansion around 55.
