Midi Transose in Real Time

Hi All,
I have a project with an audio backing track and a instrument track played live. I want to transpose the live instrument track ( so, no events recorded inside ) of +1 in an exact bar number and without touching keys on mu controller or keyboard. Is it possible ??

Hi,

Add the Transpose Track. At the given bar, add the Transpose Event: +1.

Select the MIDI Parts you want to transpose and ensure in the Info Line, the Global Transpose is set to Follow. If you don’t want to follow for some MIDI Parts (for example, Drums), set it to Independent.

Sorry, I didn’t read well enough… As you want to transpose the live playing, the only way is to use a MIDI Insert Transpose, I’m afraid. You can assign a MIDI Message to Bypass On/Off the MIDI Insert to ensure, it’s transposed only at the wanted range.
