I utilise .midiloops a fair amount as a kind of preset+inserts & midi demo go to.
One big issue tho, it’s painfully slow browsing through sounds as it needs to load the synth & patch & the insert fx.
Waiting 30 seconds to load each patch or so makes the whole idea of it kinda half useless.
Easy solution, a lowquality compressed audio file plays the .midiloop instead of loading all the data & then having to load it all again when you drag and drop it onto a project.
Cut that whole problem out and keep a cached render so we can flick through .midiloops quickly to audition what each thing is.
