This has broken some of my projects.
As a little demonstration, I set it to a ridiculously high setting, but it has no effect.

If I’ve understood correctly what’s happening with the ties, a similar issue arises with slurs, which don’t look very good at the start of a system break. If anyone has any good settings to share, I’d love to hear them.
