Minor UI suggestions to Percussion Maps window

When I have to do a lot of percussion mapping, there are a few enhancements I feel which could make it more consistent with the expression map editor window, and also a smoother experience:

  • Ability to double click fields and edit them directly in the note map (just as you can edit CC’s and KS’s inside of the expression map window) - it gets confusing to have to go to the bottom with every change, then click apply (or clear to erase an entry), which is also inconsistent with other areas of the Dorico UI where you can edit fields directly. (also, enter key will close the window without applying - I have made this mistake many times)

  • Ideally when editing a field, it would provide a dropdown list filtered down from the text you have begun typing, most useful for instruments and techniques (rather than another window popping up). This UI behavior can be seen in the endpoint configuration setup window, when you double click “expression map” and begin to type it effectively narrows down your search.

  • Key Switches field should also accept actual key note names like C1 D2 etc. (again, consistent with expression map editor window) - as of now it only accepts midi note numbers, which I have to look up and down the list and convert.

Thank you!
