I’m using the minus ‘–’ symbol for minor in chord symbols for a project, and I’ve noticed that it looks rather unnaturally long.
I’ve combed through the Chord Symbols section in Engraving Options, but can’t find anything related.
Is this changeable?
I agree - it’s too long.
It’s not currently changeable, but I am certainly considering tweaking the default appearance of the – and + glyphs in Bravura ahead of the next update.
Thanks Daniel. Is there ANY way to change it before then? For example making a copy of the Bravura font and manually editing the symbol? I would really love to do this job in Dorico, but I know my client will not like those – symbols—and they definitely want to use the ‘–’ and not ‘m’ or ‘min’.
