Right now, if you uncheck “Folder Tracks” under “Colorize Tracks and MixConsole Channels” in the preferences, it keeps the track color on the name, but makes the Folder track control area darker grey in the Project Window which is fantastic! It allows there to be color on the Folder name without coloring the track panel which makes your folders easy to distinguish!
However, in the MixConsole, they completely stay the same color as the Folder color, which makes it harder to decipher where a folder begins if you have all of your tracks in that folder the same color. If you change the folder color to grey in the MixConsole, it makes it easier to see where a group of tracks start, but if you collapse them, you’re left with boring grey and can’t have color visual cues in your MixConsole.
It would be great to have Folder Tracks in the MixConsole look the same as they do in the Project Window so that your folder name still has color and corresponds to the tracks that are in it, but to have the track control portion of it be grey just like in the Project Window so you can have easier visual cues of where each group of tracks starts in the MixConsole.
Maybe even a Color Strength just for the Track Control portion of Folder tracks could be of use in addition too! That way, if people like it the way it is, they can do that. But, I think the visual cue is more consistent and better if they were the same in both windows.

So, I love the idea like this in the Project View because it’s a clear indication that there is a start to the group of tracks within the folder. Notice the Folder’s name and nesting is still the same color of the rest of the tracks within it, but the Track Panel of the folder itself is a dark grey. This gives a great indication of the start of each folder/group of tracks:
However, in the MixConsole, all of the folders are the same color as the rest of the tracks, making it difficult to distinguish where each folder/group of tracks begins:
Now, you can change the color of the Folders to grey, and they will stand out a little more like this, depending on the color, indicating where each folder/group of tracks starts:
However, if you did that for every single folder in your session, then you would have a bleak looking MixConsole (and or Project Window) when/if you collapse them all. This is only on the folders of the previous tracks I took a screen shot of, but you could see they’re all grey now when collapsed. Imagine if every group of instruments and vocals did this. You’d have a very bleak looking session. Also notice the other folders in orange and dark orange etc. that are for Alto and Soprano etc. There isn’t much of a visual indication of the start of the folder:
