Missing connecting barline in Woodwinds

Hi,

I tried searching about this but couldn’t find anything related. I don’t know why but I’m having this weird issue. I have Baritone Saxophone + Soprano Sax for the sample player. So, in engraving mode it gets condensed into 1 staff. BUT, for some reason, when switching to Soprano Sax, the barline that connects it with the rest of the Woodwinds section disappears and stays like this until it goes back to Baritone Sax.

Please take a look to these screenshots

Any idea??

Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum @GabrielS.

First things first, can you upload your project? It’s by far the quickest way to get a solution. Just a cut down version is fine as long as it demonstrates the problem.

Second, do you have a signpost for any bracket and bar line changes above the top stave of the system?

Hi Daniel!
Thanks for your message and help.

Here it is the cut down version. It won’t make any sense music-wise but it shows the issue:

I think it’s because your player is holding a baritone sax and a soprano (singer?). The soprano is not in the winds group, so does not share the barline.

You are so damn right Janus…I missed that! It should be Soprano Sax, not just Soprano (meaning, Singer). Thank you so much!!
