Missing content from loops and samples

I’m running cubase 13 on win 11 64bit. All my content has disappeared from my loops and samples in my media tabs from the righthand media tab on project window, the different folder icons are there, but nothing inside them except am signature drums which still shows content. Everything is still there in mediabay drop down menu. I have tried the following

"* Close all programs.

  • Open the “Run” command prompt by pressing the Windows logo key + R simultaneously.
  • In the command line of the ‘Run’ window, enter one of the following path shortcuts::
    user specific installation (standard): %appdata%
    installation “for all users”: %programdata%

Simply use %appdata% if you are in doubt.

  • A new Windows Explorer Window opens.
  • Locate the folder ‘Steinberg’ and open the folder ‘Cubase 12_64’.
If you can’t find the folder or files, please try again using the other path shortcut.
  • Delete these files (to keep a backup, simply copy them to the Desktop before):

ContentManager.xml
mediabay3.db
scannedFolders3.bin

Next time you start Cubase, the deleted files will be rebuilt."
when i do this there is no ContentManager.xml, mediabay3.db or
scannedFolders3.bin recreated when i start cubase again. I have noticed cubase does not show the usual busy sign when opening medibay.
Any ideas what to try next, i did reinstall cubase but no change.

Since Cubase 13, these instructions are outdated, as these three files are no longer in :
C:\Users\[userName]\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase[xx]_64

They are in :
C:\Users\[userName]\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Steinberg MediaBay Server

And this could lead to a confusion : if you have deleted/moved the ones in the former path, it will do nothing, using Cubase 13, as the involved files are in the latter. This can be checked with the last modification dates in Windows Explorer. Probably as you, I have several versions of these files : one for each recent Cubase version installed, the last being in the …\Steinberg MediaBay Server path and actually used by Cubase 13.

Thanks for that info, i’ve now got it working properly
thanks
