I have already:
-reinstalled Cubase
-tried the Rescan Disk Function
-double-clicked the relevant files in File Explorer to prompt Steinberg Library Manager to check registration.
None of those solve this issue.
Noticed that the contents that labelled as missing are always “GAInstrument” or “GAStyle” Media Type:
Other Media Type such as Audio, MIDI, MIDI Loop and any Presets are fine.
The contents with issues are also always in subfolders named “Insturment”
For Example:
Allen Morgan Drums > VST3 Presets > Steinberg Media Technologies > Groove Agent SE > Instrument
Groove Agent ONE > VST3 Presets > Steinberg Media Technologies > Groove Agent SE > Instrument
What is the problem? How to solve this?
I kind of solve some of it. Maybe.
Those labelled as missing content are individual drum parts. Snare, Clap, Kick etc.
Example 8 Bit Kit 1: 16 missing contents (fill into the drum pad) and 1 preset.
Can load the preset to project window as empty GA SE track but need to assign sound manually again in Groove Agent SE own window to have sound.
I guess those missing contents are unnecessary contents or mediaBay can’t detect too detail.
Or maybe MadiaBay just can’t understand those files. Groove Agent SE can reads and loads those files fine.
I am new in cubase. I have the 15 pro and running on Mac. I watched a video where the guy was accessing to the Hip Hop vault in the media bay. This is not appearing in my media bay. I checked with the Steinberg library manager that the vet file is in library/appsupport/steinberg/content/groove agent/vst sounds…
I also tried to double click on the vst file to force the library manager to build again the path, I flagged the Steinberg dir in the media bay screen to update the files. Nothing.
Could anyone explain what is going on? Thanks
