Missing drum in C15

So many new problems since I downloaded C15 yesterday. I am converting drums recorded on the older Roland drums to the TD50x. I had a highhat that only had off and on. Now I want to move some note to the pedal, but only the drums and cymbals used are shown. Previously there was like a house icon, so you could just show what was used or show all the possiblities to choose from, not just these 11. This is in the drum editor, where I could easily substitute and move drums to new pad tracks. How now?

Also in melodic editors there was an icon to change the level of sound when clicking a note. Now the note blasts at volumes much higher than played and I don’t see the control to lessen it.

I figured out a way, by deselecting the current drum map and then finding the possibly acceptable drum or cymbal to map right. Each time I tried one, the map would revert to the restricted one. I would try to get the position and note head right and then repeat to search for other wrongly displayed one. After over 2 hours , I had all but a crash displayed right and I couldn’t seem to get any farther. I have to go through this with every project, as new saved drumsets never load again. I decided to look in the drum editor for pedal high-hat and crash again. 3rd in 2 days.

Kept on for hours trying to get back in C15 what I had in C13 and had to give up. In this phone screen shot to shot 2 floating windows that disappear with snip screen, note the BD2 and splash cymbal. I got them to appear in the map with the right assignments and everything and then I discover that they are both absent when I go further in the score. Note also that when you want to change note heads, you can’t even see the whole icon. there is no stretching further here. That and also losing the quintuplets as in another post, has just worn me out. Probably 5 hours and not able to get a complete score like I had in C13. It didn’t work in C14, and no better or worse in C15. Yes I can use C13 then but what did I pay hundreds of dollars to update for? To have 2 incomplete versions of every where confusion could always wipe out the latest of the other?

@Martin.Jirsak , can you forward these crash reports of C15.0.10 to Steinberg?
They both happen in Cubase.exe. The stack trace looks very similiar in both of them. However, the address of the access violation is not quite the same.

ExceptionAddress: 0000000141a50fbe (Cubase15+0x0000000001a50fbe)
   ExceptionCode: c0000005 (Access violation)

I did not look at the ones from the older versions.

I did forward reports and got another crash today. I am again spending hours on something that should have been much simpler if they hadn’t taken away the little house in the drum editor that enabled choosing whether to show only what you used or everything available.

I had remapped an RX11 drum part to the TD50x, and then I made multiple split audio parts. I later discovered that I had a more involved part in the old version with cowbells and 2 bass drums, that weren’t transferred. remapping is always difficult when names are changed and some things don’t even sound. so I midi mergelooped a section onto a new track and then replaced in the TD50x current track. I had to do some remapping to hear both bass drums and the cowbell and the snare rim. So the part was playing perfectly. but then when I listened to other sections of the song, I found that the existing rim had become a bass drum. I wanted to change sections by doubling the 1st note and thus selecting all of that pitch in a section. But I had to deselect the rest of the track so it wouldn’t replace the rest in all the other sections. But then when I deselect, I no longer have the drum sound to move it to.

Then I tried to paste the version before it was saved and ruined from Cubase 13, but when I went to C15, all closed (crashed) I opened and tried again but that didn’t work. then I went to C13 and exported the whole track to try to restore what I had before adding the looped part. I exported, played in Winmedia, (but they are musical sounds because it doesn’t know it is for drums). but when I try to import it in C15 on a new midi track, nothing happens.

Summary, rim changed to bass drum, but there is no rim slot to change back to, so stuck. Why did they remove that option to show all available as well as just those used?
