Missing files dialog does not recognize dual mono files

Hi,

I changed computers (from Windos to Mac) and the audio files on my montage are not in the same directory. The missing files dialog sees the dual mono files as mono and won’t reconnect the audio files.

I can open the Montage and replace the audio files one by one, but that is way to much work…

Is there any way around this? I’ve had the experience before of moving from one Windows PC to another, then I could mirror the file structure and put the files on the directory the Montage wanted to see them. But on a Mac, is there a way to create a “D:/audiofolder”? Is there a more elegant solution for this? BTW/FYI: No, I don’t keep my audios in a subfolder where the Montage is, they stay in a completely separate folder/part of the tree.

None that I know.

You, of course, have your reasons to keep your audio files in another folder, but keeping the audio files in a montage subfolder is precisely done to avoid the situation you have reported.
And if not too late, WaveLab has a function to consolidate these files (on your original system).
