Missing midi input device

Hi!

My Tascam Model 12 midi input doesn’t show up in Dorico. It worked fine before, but now it is gone. Halion (and all my other apps) finds it straight away.

I’ve tried restarting the computer and re-installing Dorico, but alas no Model 12 input. LoopMidi inputs are showing. Running only Dorico so there should be no other app claiming the input.

Anything I can do to fix this?

You’re on Windows, I guess? Try going to the Play page of Preferences, expand the Advanced Options section, and deactivate the option to use WinRT MIDI, then restart Dorico. Hopefully that will take care of it.
