Sure, it would be a no-brainer. However I also think that would clog up forums with “cubase didn’t show my XXXX” following with “it’s so loaded with bugs.”
You can call it dumbing down Cubase. But ultimately, I think it would create more issues if a disable function was given.

Any developer must figure out whether or not a feature or function is beneficial and weighs the advantages/disadvantages including user experience. I wrote my guess above, and why I think a preferences option would create more issues than it solves. Atm, it’s 1 click to close the box.
