I seem to have done something which has caused various options in the text frame properties panel to disappear. I want to centre justify the layoutName token but, as you can see, there is no option to do so. Other projects are fine, so I guess there’s a setting somewhere I need to change.
You’re missing a section of properties In the bottom panel, because you have “Show” set to “Local Only” instead of “All”.
But justification of text within a frame isn’t controlled by frame properties – it’s controlled by formatting of the text. So double-click into that frame and then click center justification in the formatting toolbar. (Or if you have a paragraph style assigned to just that text, edit the paragraph style to get center justification.)
Edit: Oh, I guess you mean center alignment (vertical) rather than center justification (horizontal). That option will show up in Properties once you change the “Show” setting.
Thankyou very much, how simple!! I’d spent more than an hour trying to find an answer. Yes, I should have said “centre align vertically”.
