Missing transposing instruments - Dorico 6 French

Hi,

I’m working on Dorico 6.1.10, French version. I’m creating this topic because after some research I couldn’t find a similar issue reported.

I can’t seem to add specific transposing instruments to my score, as they are missing in the dialog below. Namely, C, Eb and Bb bass trumpets, with and without visible key.

However, these instruments seem to be available in Dorico, as shown in the instrument editor dialog, as well ass the instrument family dialog.

This looks like a bug that will require some fix in an update, or maybe I’m just missing something. I don’t use bass trumpets on a daily basis, but as always this kind of issue is detected when working on a tight schedule… so if anyone may help here, I would be very grateful.

They show up here with the English version.

Thanks for this confirmation, this is what I suspected. I’ve seen some issue on the German version back then on Dorico 5, that supposedly was fixed in an update.

I found a workaround by switching Dorico language to English. The instruments are now available.

Hopefully the French versions will be fixed in the the next update (and if possible all transposing families, I did not check all instruments but I would’nt be surprised there are other issues).

I just tried something which seems to work: switch Dorico to English, put your bass trumpets, switch back to French
