I think it would be a great improvement to the mix console layout if each channel strip was colored. The problem I have is that the fader handle is equidistant from the vertical level meter of the next track. Very often I have moved the wrong fader because of this. All that needs to be done is to color the fader strip using color from the track. Or separating the fader strip with a white line.
