I would love for there to be a mix knob on plugins and direct offline processing, so you can adjust the amount, as a lot of plugins don’t always offer this option themselves.
It’s also useful when prepping stems - let’s say I’ve mastered a track with a tape sat plugin - I now have to apply that to individual stems - but applying it a 100% means that the stems will actually be over-saturated, so instead I have to (more or less) apply the 100% / amount of tracks.
A mix knob would make this a piece of cake. Some manufactures (like PA Alliance) have started to add this as a default option in their plugins, but there are many others that don’t - this feature could solve that instantly.
