Hello, I am wondering if it might be possible to make the following measure cleaner by creating the beaming as indicated in red. I have tried manipulating the groupings in the Meter bar, but it won’t let me do the following: 7/8 1.5+1.5+1.5+1.5+1/8.
I have even tried 14/16 to see if that would work. Suggestions:
You can’t specify decimals in a time signature’s grouping, but yes you could input a hidden time signature with a semiquaver denominator, eg enter [3+3+3+3+2]/16 into the time signatures popover.
Alternatively, if this is a recurring pattern, set it up in one bar with Force Duration, then repeat/copy that bar, and use Lock Duration to repitch whilst maintaining existing note durations.
