For some reason, mixer channel names change their size randomly, like if two different font sizes alternate. It happens consistently both in my main Windows 10 desktop with Cubase Pro 10.5.12 and my old Macbook Pro that runs the Elements version, so it doesn’t seem to be computer related. Steps to reproduce:
- Open an empty project and create two or three audio tracks.
- Open the mixer.
- In one of the mixer channels, click below to “Set Track Color to Default”. Notice that, in the channel name, the font size increases.
- Then, close and reopen the mixer. Now the channel name shows again its initial font size.
- Click again to select a different color. Result: font size increases again.

This not only affect the channel names, also the inserts names jump in size from time to time.
