Mixer - Channel visibility - disable visibility of new tracks in stored presets?

Hi all,

This is my first post, I guess.
I’m pretty new with Cubase 13 and I have an issue with the Mixer Visibility.
I saved some selected tracks at the “Channel Visibility Configuration”, but if new tracks was added, the appears in all saved preset (or Configuration).
This is very annoying if you have several presets stored.
You update, and add another track → update again…

Is there a setting or option to avoid that?

In the screenshot I highlighted in red tracks been added after saving the config.

Now they appear in all of the 15 stored configs.

I’m afraid not. My guess is that Visibility Configurations store the excluded channels rather than the included.
It’s a topic that’s been discussed a fair amount already in this forum and from what I gathered, most users are unhappy with this exact issue—newly added channels gets added in all configurations.
I do hope Steinberg will change this behavior but I’m not holding my breath.

I see, bummer.

Thx for the reply!

I absolutely hate it…

Not sure, if this would help in the desired use case, but I typically hide MIDI tracks in my MixConsoles. And then adding another MIDI track doesn’t mess up the MixConsole.

Thx Nico for that hint.

But that doesn’t help if you want to build your groubs of vst instr + midi tracks, etc.

Cheers!
