Mixer registers my input signal, hear the audio, but doesn’t record anything. The drivers are active and correct. Anyone else had this issue
Hi and welcome to the forum,
Have you created an Audio Track, please?
Yes sir
Hi,
have you correct Input selected, please? Could you attach a screenshot?
What @Martin.Jirsak was wondering about is if the audio inputs are actually connected to the input routing of your track - something like this :
- Relevent hardware input(s) connected to the Input Routing setting of your audio track (a screenshot showing the inspector of your audio track would help).
- Record and Monitor enabled (to hear what you are recording).
Make sure “microphone” input isn’t disallowed in windows audio settings.
It was turned off but unfortunately didn’t help.
I got it to record ones but then it wouldn’t play it back. I’ve worked with many others I don’t know why this one is being a pain.
If you got it to record once then it sounds like the can’t record problem is fixed…now you have a can’t play it back problem…explain what you mean by that exactly so people can try to work out what you need to do.
Did you disable the Monitor button on the track before trying to listen to it play back?
I believe I’m good now thanks for helping. It wouldn’t record because markers had gotten invented and i didn’t realize you had turn the monitor off for playback. Simple stuff but
I hadn’t ran into these issues on other DAW
Thanks again everyone
