mixers aren't following each other

I am having trouble getting mixer 2 to follow the channel I select. It seems to want to stay static. The channel display (on the left) changes but mixer itself doesn’t move. The project window channel doesn’t move with it either. I need to have every mixer and the project move to the channel I select each time (whether I select from mixer 1 or 2 or the project or my controller or the channel display on the mixer). N5 used to do this.

This issue is also in Cubase7, and with the upcoming update to C7 next week, it seems they have addressed it.
Hopefully there is a N6 update also coming very soon to fix it.
