Mixing in Cubase

I have a question about mixing in Cubase or perhaps, mixing in general. I’ve been trying to apply inserts and eq to the stereo out track and for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to access those features on the stereo out channel. How do I get there? And should I even be going there? How do you do your mixes? Do you place effects on the whole mix (into the stereo out path) or do you save those global effect/eq changes to the mastering phase?

We could tell you about it, but you still get little information as to what you need to know is huge.
So lookup some tutorials and begin with the basics, the net is crowded of tutorials and even instruction video’s.

I personally can recommend the Tishmeyer tutorials and the Alan Parsons video series, not to expensive also :wink:
