I am new to Cubase and I just bought Cubase 13 Pro.
I am using Windows 11.
When I add any ML Sounds AMPED plugin to an insert slot, it instantly overloads my computer. I can load any other amp sim plugin and it does not do this (Neural DSP, Ampeg SVT suite, Amplitube, NI Guitar rig) and it does not do this.
When i load up any ML sound lab AMPED plugin in FL Studio they work just fine.
i ahve tried uninstalling and reinstalling all of them. Nothing helps. Please help!
It’s not the CPU that is overloaded, but the audio engine. So, just a suggestion (who knows ?) : as you have the Pro version of Cubase, do you see the same result if you insert any ML Soundlab Amped plug-in in an input channel instead of an audio one ?
Thanks for the reply! Yes, I get this issue when I insert it on the input channel. That is what is happening. Sorry, I should have specified that in my original post.
The Amped plugins I tested have problems with ASIO Guard when working in real-time (on an input channel or monitored audio channel). I have reported this a while back.
As a work-around, you can disable ASIO Guard for the specific plugins in the Plugin Manager.
